However the common Screenshot method still wins as the fastest and easiest way to save the files while swiping through and viewing the files. 


When you are pulling cards in the woods on the way to the stand, it is imperative to do this quickly & quietly with ease!


If you don't know how to screenshot on your iphone, please google search "screenshot or screen record on iphone", or read the steps below for the latest iphone models. 


Screenshot is to capture the current image on the screen and save it to your phone gallery. 

Screen Record is a method to record the video playing at the moment on your screen. i.e. Play your trail camera video, hit screen record, and it records/saves the video currently playing to your gallery.

Take a screenshot or screen recording on iPhone

You can take a picture of the screen, just as it appears, or a recording of actions on the screen, to share with others or use in documents.

Take a screenshot

  1. Do one of the following:

    • On an iPhone with Face ID: Simultaneously press and then release the side button and volume up button.

    • On an iPhone with a Home button: Simultaneously press and then release the Home button and the side button or Sleep/Wake button (depending on your model).

  2. Tap the screenshot in the lower-left corner, then tap Done.

  3. Choose Save to Photos, Save to Files, or Delete Screenshot.

    If you choose Save to Photos, you can view it in the Screenshots album in the Photos app, or in the All Photos album if iCloud Photos is turned on in Settings  > Photos.

Tip: To quickly create a PDF of a webpage, document, or email, take a screenshot, tap the thumbnail, then tap Full Page.

Create a screen recording

You can create a screen recording and capture sound on your iPhone.

  1. Go to Settings  > Control Center, then tap the Insert Screen Recording button next to Screen Recording.

  2. Open Control Center, tap the Screen Recording buttonthen wait for the three-second countdown.

  3. To stop recording, open Control Center, tap the Selected Screen Recording button or the red status bar at the top of the screen, then tap Stop.

Go to Photos then select your screen recording.
